How to Choose an ExoCore:
Again, DO NOT MAKE A THREAD asking others for their opinion.
My best suggestion is to have two main ExoCores that you consistently use over and over and over—master them. Use a class specific ExoCore and an all class ExoCore. There are two benefits for this: When you decide that you have mastered your current setup (NOTE: this will and should take months), you can use the all class ExoCore in a new setup so that you have something to rely on if you get in a bind. For example, say you have mastered your scroll and ExoCores as a Soul Fighter and would like to try out being a Striker with a different scroll and ExoCore. You can consistently use your new Striker set up and if the necessity comes, you can switch to a familiar ExoCore if you have to.
As with choosing a scroll, do some research in game, read the ExoCores and Sacred Scrolls forums, and watch YouTube videos. The EXACT same questions should be asked.
Questions to Ask Yourself:
- Are you typically doing 1v1, free for all, or team games? (This, in my opinion, is the biggest question for choosing an ExoCore)
- Do you want fewer and more powerful hits, less powerful but longer combos, or somewhere in the middle?
- Do you need a juggle launcher?
- Do you want a guard breaker?
