| DO NOT MAKE A THREAD ASKING OTHERS WHICH SCROLL YOU SHOULD GET OR TO COMPARE TWO OR MORE SCROLLS. |
There are literally hundreds of similar threads over the exact same questions and this annoys the forum-regulars. No one can tell you what type of player you are, what you will prefer, how you play with a particular scroll, or whether or not you will even enjoy using said scroll(s).
How to Choose a Sacred Scroll:
DO NOT make a thread asking others what you should get or what the comparison between two or more scrolls (or ExoCores for that matter) is. There are literally dozens of similar threads and this annoys the forum-regulars. No one can tell you what type of player you are, what you will prefer, and how you will accept a scroll. Do some research; Watch YouTube videos; and read through the ExoCores & Sacred Scrolls forum. Look for what you want and compare each scroll to your fighting style.
Questions to Ask Yourself:
• Are you typically doing 1v1, free for all, or team games?
• Do you want fewer and more powerful hits, less powerful but longer combos, or somewhere in the middle?
• Do you want long juggle abilities?
• Do you need a juggle launch innate with the scroll?
• Do you want a guard breaker?
• Do you want a class specific scroll?
• How large of a hit box do you need?
• What stats are you using? If you are a full strength Striker or a full armor Alchemist you will probably be excessively slow and would undoubtedly want a scroll with fast combos. On the other hand, if you are a speedy Soul Fighter or Elementalist, your drifting will be much faster and, as such, you can afford a slower scroll with more powerful hits.
Whatever scroll you decide, do not just use it—master it. Use it for months without changing to a different scroll. If you decide that you just hate the scroll, don't worry. Do not sell the scroll. Instead, put it off to the side and continue with what you have until you can purchase more Astros or gain more Carats.
